The Dragons Abreast Geelong team formed in 2003.

We welcome breast cancer survivors (and some very special supporters) to share the camaraderie of others travelling the same journey.

Our aim is to have fun, enjoy friendships, improve fitness and wellbeing, raise awareness of breast cancer & demonstrate that we can still lead a very active life after breast cancer. We encourage participation over competition.

The upper body exercise of dragon boat paddling has been proven to have an important role in breast cancer surgery recovery and improved lymphatic function.

We invite you to come and belong to a team where each paddler, regardless of age, fitness or gender, brings a depth and strength that is shared and valued.
